Will Wood
Bio
Will Wood is an American singer-songwriter and alt-comic known for his constantly-shifting style, dark and occasionally Kaufmanesque sense of humor, and experimentation with both genre and medium in a distinctively dramatic fashion. Whether he's kicking his signature hand-painted keyboard alongside his band “The Tapeworms,” or telling “side-splitting" but surprisingly moving and personal stories in theaters between anti-folk songs about recovery, Wood as a performer has proven to be more than the online phenomenon his viral hits might have suggested. Defying even that opportunity, Wood stepped away from the spotlight following his viral height, and has since returned to larger audiences than ever; which he continues to uncompromisingly challenge the expectations of. He is currently working on a new musical project, which will be his first major studio release in five years. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and their pets, which include but are not limited to terminally ill pythons and physically disabled pigeons.
